You can use either HyTran or 80W-90 gear oil. Either will be fine. be sure to drain the front plug too. It's under the center of the tractor at the front of the transmission. It's a small plug. And as the others said, take the bolts loose that hold the belt pulley shaft assembly out and slide the assembly out about an inch to let that drain. put about a quart of oil in through the fill plugh on the belt pulley when you refill. The pulley is lubed from the transmission and drains back to the transmission, but there is a small sump up there that needs to be filled. Oil only gets up there by splashing or being slung up there by the gears. Also when you drain, leave her sit with the plugs out for 24 hours to get out all the old oil you can.
