My AV is at the top of my list for now. I got to wait for another engine to put in the C. This particular AV is a 1951 Super AV with touch control hydraulics. What strikes me is the fact it has A SQUARE AXLE, not a round one. Back to the engine.... I have tried to start it. I took the mag which is excellent working and put it on the AV; from my '44 A. I put new plugs in and it had plug extenders on it but I took them off and put new plugs in. I cleaned the carb and put a lawn mower tank on it for the reason being the other is off and having it on would be in the way. I turned it over-backfire. So I switched the wires as in turning cap upside down, so #1 was in BOTTOM LEFT, as in turing the mag 2 times back. I had it firing-sort of. Then nothing. I cant pull start for one tire is completely flat and has ice arount the valve stem inside so I got to wait to be able to put air in it. I AM NOT PUTTING THE C TIRES ON IT What happened?? The carb is not clogged up; I even took the needle guide out and cleaned it again. The mag works excellent on my '44 A, I tried it after testing the AV. WHEN I SWITCHED WIRES ON IT IT AND THE 44 A DIDNT BARELY RUN. THEN I RESET THE WIRES AND TURNED THE MAG BACK 2 TURNS. IT RAN GREAT! THIS MAY BE IT?? COULD TURNING THE MAG BACK INSTED MAKE IT RUN BETTER!!?? THanks, ThatOtherGuy

As simple as a box plow appears, it can be rather challenging to make work correctly. In our sandy soils of Florida, traction is king. You can never have wide enough tires or heavy enough weights to get all the traction you want … unless you own a monster tractor. U
