Cub lo-boy tips and questions

I am going to look at a CUB Lo-boy approx. a 1955 model according to seller. Any tips for checking it out such as problem areas? It has a woods belly mower, 5' I believe. He is asking $2000. Is this price in the ball park and will it make a good mower? Thanks
