Mine is on the left side of the transmission just as EG described. Does your's have a bar type axle or a flange type axle. There have been many of these imported as used tractors from Europe in the last 15 years. The european Ford's I have seen tend to have taller narrower tires with longer liftarms than those sold new in the U.S.. I have also seen many highway maintenance tractors that have been repainted and sold as Ag tractors. Many of these units were used to pull the folding wing type brush cutters and were often sold without the hitch linkage to keep the bid price down for the state and federal contracts. These tractors as well as the used imports are often made complete with salvaged parts and sold witout mention of their origin.
