Chase,
I realize that buying from long distances is difficult but this is outrageous. It is best to go look and if you want a tractor, put some down to hold it then go back the next day possible with a trailer and cash and get it. I bought one tractor sight unseen, but I knew the price was fair regardless if it was stuck or whatever. The guy doing the deal was in an Eastern State and he was selling it for his father who was in West TX. His father was not able to maintain it for years and no realtime info could be gotten on present condition. I sent the money and that weekend I was pulling a 32 foot tandem dual trailer to get it. That deal worked out great for me but I don't think I would do that again. If you are going to buy from far away, plan on two trips, one to look/make the deal and one to get your equipment. That is my .02.

By the way, what do you mean you settled before court? Did you get your money back already but still want this tractor?

If all else fails, there is nothing a piece of pipe and a chain cannot solve. If you need a hatchet man, email me. Services of many types can be arranged.
