Guys,
I had a problem with my proudest posession, my 806. I asked the board for advice and I got it exactly from experienced salts. I got the part number from my query and relayed it to my nearest IH dealer, and bought the parts. The installation advice I received on this board was 100% right too. No trouble at all.
Gents, we have a medium here that is invaluable. Our Fathers, GrandFathers couldn't ask people in far states for advice. We CAN. This is incredible.
When you work for people you loathe 40 hours a week and get nothing but a paycheck, you need something to enjoy at home. When something is broke you want it fixed.
I fixed my steering trouble on my 806 this evening. It made me feel like the King of The World.
Yeah, something else will break on it some day, maybe tomorrow. BUT...I know that if it does, I can ask you guys for advice and you will have the experience to help me. Then I can be King again.
