The Touch Control is completely rebuildable. My experience with falling fast-hitch has nearly always traced to worn cylinder O-rings. However, the check valve would indicate you've got valve problems. I would guess there is dirt or other obstruction in the valve. There are several contributors to this group that have an excellent knowledge of the Touch Control System. Mine is quite limited. Wait until someone posts more help on here before you tear it down. Many little parts to fly in many different directions!! In the meantime, I strongly suggest you get a schematic of the Control Valves to help guide you along after you get some written help.
