I'm a "new" old tractor collector and know very liitle about them. I recently aquired a '39 F-14 and was wondering what the original seat looked like and how it was attatched to the frame... did the seat stem have the coil to cushion the ride? Someone in it's past bolted it to the frame/case just below the seat, along with a box/guard that looks like it was taken from the PTO... Did the PTO have some sort of cover on this model? The frame is now damaged where the seat was bolted. ...ANY input/info would be great! Also, how/where does one check the oil on these models!? (...Tractor has all steel wheels incase that makes any difference)THANKS!
