Red, Sounds like your fuel cap gauge is almost beyond repair. I have some salvage parts if you want me to look at repairing it. I cannot really give you an estimate without looking at it first, but I will treat you fair if it can be repaired. I would like to keep these IH gauges in working condition so others can appreciate their design. Indiana Tom
