I have tried to use my new (to me) Farmall 560 (gas)to move snow this winter in N.D. and the carb ices up every time. The first time I didn't warm up the engine before pushing snow and by the time I was done, the engine was barely running, black soot was coming from the exhaust, and the plugs were ruined. Now I have tried warming up the engine at a fast idle first and put cardboard over the front grill. It is better but still a problem. I'm going to try to make some kind of an enclosure around the front of tractor next.
