H/M Governors

Has anyone been through a governor on the H or M series (H-350 or M-450)? I've got one on a Super M that is getting jumpy and I see that the weights are loose on their mounting pins. I tried removing one of the pins with a punch and hammer, but it didn't budge. Are the pins just press fit, or do they only come out one direction or ...? Wanted to check with someone who's done it before I damage something ;) Thanks, Stan(VA).
