steve there were like 3 diffrent heads,and they all will inter-change.first one and most un-desireble is the kerosene-head, then the gas-distalate head , then the hi compresion head-gas, the last head was also used for lp,some were in the middle of the 300 run they came out wit a bran-new LP-head, it will make your motor a 8 to 1 compresion motor---but you can-not run the hi-dome pistons in theis head they will hi.i think the only new pistons from sealed- power have like a .167 dome and they will work.if you need the casting numbers let me no.
