All the help comments by the other guys are good, I think, but there's one other thing I've seen in old Farmalls too. Sometimes the front bolster gets a little tilted forward because the front wheels have hit an obstruction of some kind. This results in the whole front bolster/radiator assembly being "too long" that results in the grill being abnormally forward, especially at the top. If the frame channels aren't bent, you can get most of the tilt out by loosening the eight bolts that attatch the frame and bolster and blocking the wheels and backing up the tractor carefully then retightening the bolts. I know, this may sound crazy, but in two situations, once in an H and once in a Super M, I saw this and fixed it this way. As I understand it, all M-Super M hoods are the same length, only MD and Super MD/MTA/MD-TA hoods are longer.
