I have seen a factory heater for a 1256 which was located down near the clutch pedal along the wall of the narrow cab that IH supplied. Were these a good unit? It seems like it may be a little far away from where I need the heat (front window). I am planning to put a heater of some sort in a 1206. Question #2 is where did IH take the water from those engines for the heater? There is a pipe plug on the thermostat housing but I am not sure of the second outlet. The block drain plug is hidden behind a fuel filter. Thanks.
