If your tractor still has a magneto this may get you close.I allways start by putting the #1 cyl at TDC compression stroke just in case I lose the timing.The Electrode on the rotor should be pointing to the #1 position on the distributer cap.Then remove the rotor and there should be three screws holding a plate remove these be careful not to get the little gear out of position that runs the rotor.The points are under this plate.You should be able to tell how they mount at this point.I belive th gap is .013 on the high lobe. Take the cap off the mag and you will see how the condenser mounts.This is the best I can remember,my book is 10 miles out in the country.Put it all back like it was and hope you dont have to retime.ED
