I'm not positive, but I have been told that both the gas and diesel "9" series engines both use the left-hand magneto, unlike the "6"s (like the Ms and MDs)which use the right-hand on the gas engines and the left-hand on the diesels. If so then the hydraulic pumps should turn the same way. Somebody on this board should know for sure, though.....
