That doesn't sound like an original H farmall seat at all. The question is wheather the lower part of the seat assembly is the same as an original seat assembly. I'm talking about the rest of the assembly between the seat itself and the top of the rear end. I'm guessing that none of it is original from the top of rear end, up. I really don't know what you are trying to acomplish here. Are you trying to go back to original? Or are you trying to fix a worn out seat? If the seat is shot and you just simply want to replace it than anything that will fit on there will work. But if you are going to go back to original than maybe a photo would be necissary so we could tell you if you need the original pan style seat or the whole seat assembly.
