I have a 1940 M with a MW hand clutch. the other day i was pulling up some trees and the clutch started to slip. someone told me that those hand clutches can slip making you think the main clutch is slipping. The hand clutch does not work, meaning, the lever does not move more than a few inches unless you have the castle nut in the hand clutch really loose. today i hooked it up to a tree and the clutch slipped like it did before but i engaged the PTO and it continued to run. so, does this mean that the hand clutch is messing up my tractor? i would like to leave the hand clutch on there so how do i fix it so it does not mess up the tractor like it is now? thanks for the help. Jeff
