I have a 1949 Farmall Cub. The final drives are different on each side. It looks like the left side was replaced as it is still in primer. I am restoring it and noticed the lower axle on the left has a cover it to protect it. The right side has no cover and you can see the lock nut turning when in motion. The nut is painted red as though it came that way. The castings are also different in this area. Is there a cover available for the side that is open. It would have to fit like a front wheel axle cap.
