Renfro Valley show report

Due to insomnia I thought I would tell you all what a nice show I went to this morning. It was at Renfro Valley in Mt. Vernon, KY. They have a harvest festival with singing, arts & crafts, food, and the works. A tractor club (Southeast KY Steam and Gas maybe??) has their show there. The green to red ratio was pretty high, probably 3 JD to 1 IH, which was OK by me because I like them all. There was a couple Cubs, 1 H, a NICE F20, a B, BN, F12(I think), another unstyled for sale ($1700 ran good), and maybe a few more I am forgetting. There was also a bunch of hit and miss engine, including several large ones which pumped a lot of oil in their time in eastern KY hills. My dad liked them because he grew up working oil fields. To get to my point - the show in Renfro Valley has grown a lot in the last few years. I think in a few more it will be one of the nicer shows in the area. Why don't we KY boys drag a few more Farmalls down there next year and contribute? BTW, I am not affiliated with the club holding the show, I just had a great time and thought I would tell y'all about it. Maybe I can sleep now...Fireman
