I just ordered a lever from SteelWheelRanch...I told him to give me whatever he had (cost was the same). He sent a saw tooth lever. While esthetically it looks great and is in excellent condition it did jump out of position. It was not the saw tooth that was the problem. The throttle lever by design used to press up against the plate of the saw tooth assembly. This acts as a cantilever against the saw tooth. So, even if you replace yours with a saw tooth in great shape you still may need to adjust the throttle lever. I wouldn't own a friction grip now that I figured the problem out. I added washers to the other throttle side to give it more leverage and it works great! (Remember when Farmall sold them in 1947 they worked...)
