Your heavier fuel (distillate or kerosene) goes in the big tank and gas in the smaller. There should be a shut off valve under each tank. The shut off valves you turn clockwise to shut them off and counterclockwise to open them up. When you start tractor the heavier fuel valve (big tank) should be shut completely off and the smaller tank (gas) valve should be opened. Always start tractor on gas and run it tell engine is heated up. Then when you switch fuels you simply close gas valve and open the heavier fuel valve (distillate or kero). There should also be an adjustment made on the manifold when burning the heavier fuel. Before you shut tractor off make sure you switch back to gas and let it run long enough to burn the distillate or kero out of the fuel lines and carb. If tractor cools off with distillate or kero in the carb the tractor will be pretty much unstartable unless you drain carb and line and get the gas back in there. I am really supprized that this tractor is still set up to run both fuels since in later years most people said the heck with distillate or kero and just run gas in them all the time. When they do this they just start putting gas in the big tank and don't use the smaller one. Your seat is not original. I would say that $750 is a good average going price pretty much nationwide U.S.A.

It is also very apparent that these folks are getting a lot of very poor and often very dangerous advice fro
