My Dad painted the grill, hood and gas tank on his '51 M white beneath the line that runs down the side in about 1960 or a little before. Kinda similar to the paint scheme on the 460/560. I guess upon closer examination, that could be considered "Original". My Super H has the whole grill painted white, and somewhere there's a '54 Super M-TA with the same paint scheme, and there was a '39 H that the last time I saw it (25+ yrs ago) was in Hillsdale, IL. setting in a fence row. Dad & I had repainted that '39 and fixed it all up when I was about in 7th or 8th grade. We traded it for My Super H 2 yrs later, about 1970. When I "Restore" My Super H, I will repaint the grill white, Not "Original", but Just the Way It Always was.
