I think you found the problem. For engine serial numbers 501-278049, use 45628DAX serial number for both halves standard size. For engine serial number 278050 and later use 356985R11 for both halves, standard size. I am guessing your serial number is between 501-278049. Sounds like someone didn't take the time to push out the upper bearing. It is probably well worn which would explain the knocking. I am not sure what the L200 stands for though.
