Jim, I replaced the block for my 'B' with one from a U-2 power plant. This 113 c.i. engine was used on many power units, combines and such. The only major difference between it and the 'A', 'B', 'C' engine was that the starter entered the block from the front and thus one block-to-bellhousing bolt hole will be missing when used in a tractor application. If the engine that you have is a flat head, more than likely it will fit a Cub. FWIW (and with limited knowledge), Ed
