Probably about 600 lbs is the limit for the Touch Control and the 3 pt hitch. If the front end lifted off the ground, get some front wheel weights and/or have some solution put in the front tires. Also you could rig a bracket on the front to add weight. I have a C with 3 pt hitch that works off the rockshaft arms. The quy I bought if from claimed he used it to haul round bales. He said he had counter weights on the front. The heaviest thing I have lifted with it is a 6 ft heavy duty box blade that I think weighs around 300 lbs. It had no trouble at all with that. If the 6 ft bush hog was a heavy duty one, it's too heavy for the C. Try a light duty 5 ft and you should be OK. Also be sure you have an overrunning clutch on the PTO, or you are going to be pushed where you don't want to go when you try to stop your ground motion.
