Thank you to everybody who gave me advice opinions on what may be wrong with the gas starting system. The Vet was correct it was in the carb. I took it apart and soaked every thing in brake cleaner over night and blew it out and replaced all the gaskets. She started right up. One tiny problem now though. The old girl wants to diesel when you shut her off. Any input on this new development would be welcome. Other than that I am very thankful for all of you who help out and give advice. This board is great and ya'll are a good bunch of folks. Thank you once again.
