One easy way to bump up HP is to put in high compression pistons. You're already replacing the sleeves with bigger bore, that will help some too. Go to "market place" on the left of this page and click on "on-line store". There you will find high compression piston kits for sale. I wouldnt worry about pinging, since even the high comprssion pistons are still less that 8.5:1 and thats good for 87 octane. Standard compression on the M was 5.65:1 and the high compression option from IH was 6.87:1
