If you have ever used a hand clutch remeber this is quite different! The shift from high to low or back shouldnt take more than 2 seconds. Going much slower will just fry the ta. Never pull back the ta to coast down hills it will over rev the unit and can explode, the lower the trany gear the more likely! Used in the proper manner these can last for many years and a bozo can ruin one in an hour. kev ps we have never had to replace a ta in thousands of hours of tractor operation.
