Tractors were set up to burn kerosene as a cheaper alternative fuel. The smaller tank was used for gas in this situation for start up and shut down. Note that if you shut down with kerosene the tractor would still have kerosene in carburator making starting when tractor cooled off pretty impossible. Even starting while remaining warmed up would be tuff. Burning straight gas all the time shouldn't cause any problem other than maybe a lead additive should be considered to add to your gas. The value of this tractor would depend alot on tire condition and mechanical shape. Those are the two biggies and then look for completeness and restorability. Putting a value on this tractor would be tuff without knowing these things. I am wondering if the hand clutch was a add on feature. Don't know much about that but that might be something to look at closer. If this soley activates the clutch then it would make nothing live. Maybe just work more smoothly with a particular implement or something to that effect. I would like to know the real reason it has a hand clutch.
