Dave, If you live near a truck stop or grain elevator, or even a moving company they usually will have a scale. Just load the tractor on your trailer and weight the whole thing. Off load the tractor and weigh the trailer. If your weight class is broken at the 500lbs mark ie; 1500-2500 etc., then you want to be just under the next higher class. Most truck stops have CAT scales and will charge you about $10 per weigh-in. Good luck at the pull. FB
