that is where the block will crack if it dont leak no worry there is no pressure if it leaks grind the old stuff off and rough it up a little and try J-B weld depends on how wide the crack is lots of them are running some of which the owner doesent even know can be ruoghed up so will not be seen no need to panic some can be welded right on the tractor all depends on length and how wide it is have an A had small weep ground down and used fiberglass resin and cloth that was 15yrs ago has one row cult gets 4-5 hrs a year no leaks hardly noticable 10 yrs ago cultivated 10a sweet corn in three plantings three times each never shows any signs of a leak
