I read somewhere where a farmer removed the cap to put gas in his tractor while the tractor was still hot and running. I think the vent holes on the cap were plugged with dirt. Anyway, the fumes got out and caught fire, torching the tractor and severely burning the farmer. The next thing you know, here come the lawyers. Never, ever put gas in ANYTHING while it is hot and running(including lawnmowers, weedeaters, etc.!). Shut it off and let it cool prior to filling it with gas.
