I was at a tractor show in Ilderton Ontario on the weekend( featured Cockshutt, a great show). I picked up some sections from a hawker..12 for $3. As it turned out 7 were identical I-H sections the other 5 were stamped "Detroit". Was this a jobber identification or was there machinery with a Detroit label? I have also found that some New Idea guards will fit the deering mower..and new guards are $8 each (ouch )at the I-H dealer. Just curious about the "Detroit"label. Mike in Exeter ontario
