From 7 to 11 is only a quarter turn. I have a 44 A and despite all new bearings and nut tightening i still have it. The main problem is the gear that the worm works on. It just wears out. With Cubs this is a whole round as opposed to an 1/8th so you can just flip sides. I would be happy with what you have after doing the simple things mentioned.
