No such thing as an "M-TA", only Super M-TA, "M's" built from 1939 to early 1952, Super M's built in 1952 & 1953. Super M-TA's built in 1954. 400's built in 1955 & 56. Super M's and Super M-TA's had 264 CID engines and disc brakes. M's had 248 cid engines and band brakes. Super M-TA's were avail With and Without the TA and Live PTO. Guy Fay's book, The Letter Series Restoration Guide is pretty clear on all this.
