I needed a double pulley on the fan assembly so I could put a generator on a Farmall "A". I found one I took off a "B". It has the oil slinger on it. My book "IH Shop Manuel # IH-8" says it was used on the Cubs and Super "C". Any way, the manuel shows the slinger going one way. I put it on that way. She done went and froze up on me. How does that thing supposed to work? The flow of the oil looks like it needs to go the other way. How much end play should the shaft have? I find no way to decrease it. I have about 1/8 inch play. Hope someone can give me some relief. Thanks a million. Later Norman
