I agree with the other two posts. One more thing to try is to remove the lower cover under the hydraulic pump motor. Then look up into the main casting. The upper shaft is the input to the trans and the lower is from the countershaft and exits out to drive the hydraulic pump. If the upper input shaft housing has heavy oil deposits coming out of it then one of the two (or maybe both) bearings is out. This would make the constant mesh gear run with a wobble and the uneven wear pattern could cause tooth breakage.
