Lugaidh, Zonie clarified what I was saying the other day...I believe its called a single stage operation and the weight of the implement forces the oil back to the lift all and lowers the hitch. I know you can add a valve system off of one of your lines and use a two stage( cylinder with 2 lines) but it all feeds back through one line eventually. I think the valve system is around $100 and with it you can get real fancy,but if you are using simple hydraulics what you have will work. Don't feel embarrassed by asking questions, I have learned a lot by asking and everyone on this line is glad to help. I have two H's and an M. Only one H has a liftall but you learn in a hurry when they need attention. Good luck and give us a shout if you haave more questions..Good luck from Mike in Exeter Ontario
