There are two 9 series engines that were used in the WD9/TD9. The WD9/TD9 used the D334 up until about 1953. The Super WD9 and the TD9 92 series used the D350. The D350 is the one you want to find. I found one complete, fan to pressure plate for $1500.00 in pretty good shape with a guarantee of no cracked head. The head is really the main concern when buying one of these old I-H diesels. If you can find a good one they go for about $1000. Also you can put a 370 overbore kit in a D350.
