Dad traded a 1939 H for My '54 Super H in about 1966 or '67. I've used it for thousands of hours, as shown by the 350 Hour Meter We installed. It currently has a modified FORD loader on it. I've used loaders on tricycle frt end tractors since I was about 6! Never had one get tippy! Just respect the equipment! As far as the 16-17 MPH road gear, I've run thousands of miles on My Super H. Got passed once by a 4020 diesel. I wish Mine was faster! You slow down to turn with your car & truck, Just do the same with the tractor! As RED said, only about 28,000 Super H's made, The switch to Live Hyd. was made at Ser. # 19227 in about Oct/Nov. 1953. Let Us know What Your Ser. # is. Seems like about everyone on this board has an SH. Most parts are still avail. from C/IH.
