Samshaft in SMTA

Thought I'd let ya know how I came out with the project. Got a used camshaft for a 400 per my service book, don't really know if it was any different or not. Got it all back together after having to remove the front cover once because I fogot to put in the oil slinger. Bolster went back on much better than it came off. I am amazed at how much better it runs now. Starts good and runs great, sounds much smoother than before. I haven't had a chance to put it on a load yet but I am sure it has more power. Also no longer getting air back down the intake. Had I done this a long time ago would have saved me over hauling the carburator about 5 times and a bunch of other sturff I have tried. Thanks for all the help from you and others on the project. A friend of mine has a loader M with a noise in the front that he believes is the same problem so will help him take on that one next.
