Haas,

When I got it started I checked everything very close for any leaks of any type.

I let it run for almost an hour with no visual signs of any leakage anywhere.

I replaced all fluids in the tractor. My manual called for 21 quarts of 90wt gear oil in the trans. I installed about 18 quarts at this time. I want to go the belt pulley system before finishing filling it.

Then I took it out for a test drive, it was when I returned that I noticed the 90wt leaking from the clutch rod adjustment hole.

Let it sit last evening and all of today. The leak had stopped dripping.

Took it out again this evening, only went about 1 mile total. When I returned it was leaking in the same area again.

Plan on splitting it at the area of the trans and torque tube. Made a cradle device to mount to the sides of the torque tube, it has a small hydraulic jack placed into it for height adjustment, and 4 casters on the bottom so the front end can easily be rolled away from the rear of the tractor.

Plan on holding the trans with a couple of heavy duty stands.

Going to replace any and all gaskets, seals, ect.
I don't want to have to split it again due to not replacing anything while in there the first time.

Don't know if I am going to replace the clucth and pressure plate yet, it seems to be very strong as of this time.

Thank You for the advice, I will let you know what I find and replace in this area.

"Little Bubba"
