Farmall A battery box

My A has does not have a battery box. It
currently has an improvised strap holding the
6 volt battery in place. I am getting ready to
convert it to 12 volts and I have everything but
the battery. I want to get a battery box for it but I
need to go ahead and get the battery before I
can have the box to go by. So now my
question. What size battery do I need to get
and what post configuration do I need so that
it will all fit when I get the box?
