Haas: The owners manual says a 12V system and it has a 12V battery. I have not been able to locate a ballast resistor between the switch and the coil. I just checked it little while ago, and the voltage between the battery ground and the + side of coil was 7.23 volts. As far as I know, the 464 should be a 12volt system all the way. Do you know of any troubleshooting guidelines for the ignition circuit. My manual is worthless in that area. This is not the original coil. It was replaced years ago and then again pretty recently in trying to eliminate a problem with the tractor. It is a 12V coil with internal resistor. The original coil was stamped 084 RES on the case of the coil. I do not know what to do next, except loading the tractor and taking it to an ignition specialist that, hopefully, would be able to troubleshoot it. Thanks again.

It is also very apparent that these folks are getting a lot of very poor and often very dangerous advice fro
