It happened to me, too. I bought a tractor advertised as an A and in checking the S/N found out that it had a B S/N. From help like you've gotten, I discovered that it started out as a B and was converted to an A with wide front wheels, etc. Guess what. I bought this tractor in Oklahoma. Maybe at one time it was a fad in Oklahoma to convert narrow wheel tractors to wide wheels. I know that wide fronts are more popular in Oklahoma.
