Thanks. I have checked the intake manifold area and tried to test for leaks by spraying around the manifold gasket area to try to detect any changes in engine performance. But, no I have not got into the internal guts of the engine to check the valves or valve push rods as of yet. Maybe it is time to take that step. Have been concentrating on fuel or ignition problems up to now. If I ever find the problem, will post for sure. I did find some fuel related problems, like a gas cap that doesn't breathe (original cap), a crossover fuel line that was obstructed some (has a saddle tank - I hate those things because you cannot see into the tank on the side that the fuel is being drawn from - without taking out the fuel gauge), and a fuel pump with the upper diapragm ruptured. Made it run better, but still have the miss. Thanks again for your help.
