Gene, got your post. Exactly where did you say I could tap in. Did you mean on the machined casting that the two hydraulic pipes are hooked to? There is a picture of it in the I&T shop manual (IH-8). These are 1/4 pipe fittings and would be way to small for a log splitter. It would take all day to send the ram back and forth....Thank you for the info...Dave
