To Denny Frisk, Thanks for the information. I have a 53 Super H, SN 18559 with a swinging front bolster. The casting date on the bolster is 10-6-Y so it would be within 3 weeks of the switch to the 54's. As to the Super H-TA. I was with a group from a local tractor club that took a tour a a man's tractor collection in Williamsburg, IA. The tractor in question was in his shop being restored. He showed us the tractor and said "What do you think this is?" He let the group make their own conclusions. I think Bama Binder has the Z casting dates figured out where the Super H overlaps the 300. Its been almost 50 years since these tractors were built and an inovative mechanic could put together a lot of different combinations. Anyway, its a good mystery, isn't it?
