I am trying to find my dads m's that were sold in La Porte City Iowa in october 1979. One is a 1947 and a 1953 I believe. The 53 5th gear would only work if you put all weight on the shifter to hold in gear. The 53 had white letters on the back tires. Russ Mizner was the auctioneer. I know they may have been sold once or twice but I'm just wanting to locate them. My dad passed away in 1995 after retiring to mississippi. The sale was 2 miles south of Gilbertville, IA. My brothers 706 IH front axle broke during the sale in a freaky situation. If any of this should happen to ring a bell with anyone please do let me know with whatever info you may have. He had also donated a 1928 case c to the AG museum in La Porte City, IA. Thank you for your time.
